Hoang Su Phi

Back

Hoang Su Phi in Ha Giang province near the Chinese border is a mountainous district with stunning rice field terraces that are designated as a national heritage site by the vietnamese government. Various ethnic minority groups call this landscape home and life a simple life with farming as the main form of income. Hoang Su Phi is one of the least touristic regions in Vietnam, and yet one of the most beautiful and unspoilt ones. The best time to visit is from September to October, when the rice field terraces shine golden and harvesting gets underway in October.
Vietnam Responsible Tourism (VRT) has recently established 10 homestays in Hoang Su Phi to provide quality accomodation for tourists and offer an authentic opportunity to discover the beautiful countryside and unique cultures of the people of Hoang Su Phi.
